PINTAR, Promoting Inttelligence, Nurturing Talent and Advocating Responsibility. Is a collaborative social responsibility initiative by the GLCs in Malaysia to foster academic excellent particularly among ural school children. Working closely with the Ministry of Education and the States Educations Department, 172 schools involving more than 65, 000 primary and secondary students have been 'adopted' by a total off 22 government links companies [GLCs] and 2 corporations as of November 2009.
